Raven was almost impossible to sneak up upon. However, she wasn’t often side-tracked. At the moment, she was just thinking about her book and getting it back to its proper place on the shelf. As she turned from the car, she just hadn’t even thought to pay attention to her senses that warned her Cyborg was there. So when he greeted her, smiling, she nearly dropped the book in surprise. Flustered, she managed to recover, wiping away the startled look that had graced her features for a moment.
“Hey, Cyborg. I, yeah, everything’s fine. I just left my book in the car from the other day,” she responded, waving the item about for a moment to show that’s what she had retrieved from the vehicle. “What are you doing down here? You weren’t here when I came in.”
She wondered if she had just missed him. If she had, she would have to scold herself later for being so mentally unaware. Maybe he had just decided to come do some work on the car. If that was the case, maybe she’d stick around and help. She wasn’t doing anything else other than perhaps reading. She did that every day, though, and she was forcing herself as of late to be more interactive with her friends. Books and stories would always be around, but there was a possibility her friends wouldn’t. It was a pessimistic though, yes, but nothing new to her.
Cyborg raised a brow at her surprise. Any emotion from her was a rare event, and little things like this amused him. He chuckled softly as she regained her composure.
“I was with B.B.” he replied, choosing to ignore her reaction. “Dude fell asleep on me, so I came down here. Glad to see ya found your book though.”
Assuming Raven would leave, he walked around her and opened the driver’s side of the door. He thought about heading down to the grocery store to pick up some supplies for dinner. He knew his friend usually didn’t stick around for a conversation, but he still turned his head to make sure. When he still saw her standing there, he motioned to his car.
“Gonna go shoppin’. Wanna come along? It’s on me.”
Raven, too, thought it was strange seeing this man standing in the entrance of Titans Tower. He looks younger and his cybernetic parts looks different, she also wondered when he shaved his hair when she just saw him not too longer ago with a set full of hair.
‘Perhaps this is…cosplaying I keep hearing about?’ she thought.
“Can I speak to the real Cyborg please, sir?” she asked him in a polite tone.
His eyes narrowed, and a tiny wave of anger surged through him. “I am the real Cyborg.” he said softly. Why did she believe that he was a fake? Was this some sort of joke? If it was, he was definitely not amused. Nor did he have time for playing around.
“I’m gonna have to ask you to leave the island.” ordered the half-robot, turning as he spoke to head back inside the Tower. “Like I said, this place is off limits to civilians…”
X watched what happened with metaphorically raised eyebrows, but turned when he heard the car approaching, seeing the T-car again. He walked over to where it would stop and got in on the passenger side, buckling in. “I’m glad you’re alright with the debriefing. Here’s the directions to the pizzeria,” X stated before detailing the direction to go.
“No problem. I’m used to debriefin’s, plus it’ll probably be nice to listen to someone other than Rob talk.” joked Cyborg.
He gladly listened to the directions, and soon they had reached the pizzeria. Stepping out of the car, the aroma of melted cheese hung happily in the air. Crime fighting always worked up the metal man’s appetite, and he practically skipped across the street toward the restaurant.

This show has the best fans.
Sitcom Dad Trigon was one of my favourite things from this episode. I actually got to do a few of his shots. Near the end when he’s trying to convince her to kill all her friends. =w=
